Best gaming GPU for 1920x1080 (300-400$)

Hy guys,

i know that these new GPU-s works much better on much higher resolutions which my monitor doesn't support so i don't wanna throw money if it's not needed, i need your professional opinions which is the best GPU i could buy to get maximize fps out my monitor resolution?

This is my monitor: http://hothardware.com/Reviews/Samsung-P2350-23-LCD-Monitor/

I am not planning to upgrade my monitor for at least 5 years because i think it's really great monitor for gaming.

I also plan to buy i5 3570k or i5 4670k, not sure yet which one i will buy. Probably 3570k because it's cheaper and it's not much difference from what i saw between those 2 :)

Thank you for your valued advice :D

i could suggest an GTX - 770 but the ATI crushes it ;)

    As the description says:

    ATI:
"SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100351VXSR Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card"

    GTX:
"EVGA GeForce GTX 770 DUAL SuperClocked 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support w/ EVGA ACX Cooler Video Card 02G-P4-2776-KR"

Ofc as slomo sed w8 till tomorrow..
  3. 2 7950s in xfire... is about the best you'll get for $400 on a single 1080p monitor (frankly it's overkill, but it will max anything you want as long as it's not a dx9 title)
  4. Single monitor gaming, HD7970 or the new R9 280X based on current pricing and speculations.
  5. +1 for the Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 OC with Boost. It's the best performer for the price.
