Hey guys so i am building a new gaming-editing pc so i wanted to ask you what GPU are you sujesting to me i am between the:
1)ati 7970 3gb Ghz edition (saphhire) for 360 euros(486 dollars)
2)gtx 770 2gb (gigabyte) for 380 euros(515 dollars)
3)gtx 670 4gb (zotac) for 366 euros(496 dollars)
4)gtx 670 2gb (msi) for 323 euros(438 dollars)
I know that the prices are kinda strange in my country but any way.
My pc specs are these intel core i7 3770k , asus maximus V gene,8 gigs of ram at 2133 Mhz , 700 watts,120gb ssd,1 terra hdd.
So i will be using a full hd monitor(1920x1080or my primary monitor and a secondry (1600x900) to see a facebook or a youtube while playing or to see what i am recording while playing so i dont have to worry if i have recorded right.
so i believe that 2 gb ara kinda low for what i want the gtx 770 costs 100 euros more than the 2 gb version that means somewhere to 640 dollars and i think is not worth it but the 7970 with the 3gb and the ghz edition is what i need but i am not sure plus i want to play all the new title like BF4 and cod ghosts on ultra grafics with more than 50-60 fps so what would you do if you was me?

3770k is an old chipset.
You would want to look at the 4770k and a z87 chipset, see my build in the post i edit allot also and run heavy compiler programs as well.

My PC destroys GB's of video files etc etc. my build would suit you well, there is no need for a 7970, the 7950 is fine as well and is a quite a bit cheaper.

I overclocked mine and its a high end gpu now, but its all about processor and chipset for editing, all i can say is i run BTF4 on ULTRA no problems at all.

The SSD is also highly recommended to install your programs on, be sure to set the workspace on an HDD though (in the program intself).
Atleast i have 30gb scratch disk for files reguarly, it was not an option for me to go full SSD, and then even so i would recommend to store the original output on the HDD incase the SSD fails.

IF you dont use ray tracing i HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend going for AMD, seeing the price diffrence is not much i would go for an 770 if you might desire ray tracing in the future.

Yes i know that 3770k is an old socket but i didn't find a good motherboard from the shop i want to buy my computer i might take on form outside of the country or to go to more cheaper or expensiver solutions actually the new scoket in Greece is very very new and very few motherboards for 1150 are in the market and from the low price of 80 euros it goes strait to 300 euros and i am forced to take a low-end motherboard or a high end plus i want the board to be micro atx or mini itx so i will be able to place it on my case(corsair obsidian 350d).DragonChase could you please to send a link form your topic with your pc build cause i am new in the site and dont know how to see what topic you have created or search for your topic and thanks you for your advise.

Its in everypost i make, its the grey little text in my post (down-right side).

I7-4770K- (so here you go for a 3770K)

Corsair 16GB DDR3 1600mhz CL9 Ram- (1600mhz is fine ONLY go faster if you are pro and are able to overclock the motherboard to make use of those higher speeds).
If possible pick the lowest CL you can get for the price, the lower the CL is the better, ofc keep the speed atleast at 1600mhz.

MSI z87 gaming g45: well im happy with the motherboards, supports both SLi and 3 way Crossfire a lga 1155 version is also available, its named with a g as well, if you search z77 msi gaming you can get there.

7950 Saphhire Vapor-x OC with EZ Boost: battlefield 4 on ultra, crysis far cry etc etc.

Samsung 840 Pro SSD: Its a fast and reliable SSD, i rather go for reliability instead of even more speed, windows boots in under 10 seconds and photoshop, after effects etc. starts really fast.

Seagate 1 TB Corsair: why not its 50 bucks, nice for the data.
Im a Seagate fan so yeah!.

CX 750 watt PSU: Cheap and reliable, 750 watt more then enough for CPU and multiple GPU's plus much more, bronze certified.

Aerocool Xpredator X3 white edition case: Big huge XL ATX, fits ANYTHING in it, airflow is outragous.

yes the build is actually really good but i dont like to upgrade my pc i prefer it keeps for 5 years and then i search for a better one so that's why i would like to take the 7970 ghz the and cpu is good as i saw many reviws for that but my psu is 700w i have already bought it 4 months ago cause my last was destroyed and i dont really want to pay 80-100 euros to take an other so i was wondering if that psu is ok for the 7970 i7 4770k and a good motherboard.I dont really like msi motherboards actually i dont like that brand at all i prefer the gigabyte and asus motherboards these boards overclock very well in some minutes but i dont really know if i want to overclock both board, ram and cpu i dont really like that overclock cause you increase the posibility to get burnt exept if you give 50-60 eursoo to get a good cooler or a water cooling for your cpu(for hard overclock).
So i actually want to make a build close to yours but exept the msi board and i want a bit more good GPU so i will be able to play on ultra for some years(4-5 years) after that i probably buy a new pc.Last i want to ask you some things about that case is has good airflow?has room for cable managment? What you dont like at this case.I actually dont like the design on the top of the case it may be the photo i saw was bad.
EDIT:I have chosen a different SSD is a kingston V300 7mm with reading and writing speed 450Mb/s
EDIT2:I didn't found that GPu 7950 oc with Ez boost cant find a gpu with that ''Ez boost''in my country and i dont wanna take somethink from the outside cause you pay a lot for the tranfers
EDIT3:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CMY8GX3M2A2133C11-Vengeance-2133Mhz-Performance/dp/B00D6E5L2O/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1381223448&sr=8-1-fkmr1&keywords=CORSAIR+CMY8GX3M2A2133C11+VENGEANCE+PRO+8GB+%282X4GB%29+DDR3+2133MHZ+C11+DUAL+CHANNEL+KIT
check these rams i kinda like them 2133 mhz are very good at 95 euros

Its a simple Sapphire card with Vapor-x and EZ boost, its a button you press and it goes to about a Ghz.

Ghz edition of a 7970 is also fine, if you want stronger GPU i recommend a Nvidia 770 or 780, but it costs!.

Well about the case, you can close and open the top, there are multiple color editions like Red/black, check that one out.

It has some leds and 2 expensive really big fans you can adjust, one in the front and one on top.

You can adjust fans connected with the 2 adjustable buttons on the front of the PC, it has E-sata i believe on the frontpanel USB3.0 and allot more.

Nice led lights,
filter where the air intake happens in the front,
you can fit up to 4 fans next to your GPU,
it fits a XL-ATX,
Fits water cooling with ease.

In short its a case to last!.

Thanks to the awesome construction i believe it provides the best way for a multi GPU set-up.

X3 = the big nice case and X1 is a smaller one, i recommend the X3 if you want it to last and if possible get a red/black, seen an orange black and green black one as well.

Try to find good deal as i made, i sold mine used zotac gtx 670 amp for 220 euros and bought brand new gigabyte gtx 680 soc for 320 euros. I would go for 680 or 770 series. I recently used gtx 670 by zotac for 9 months, didn't have any problems it is a good card. Try zotac amp 680 or 770 they good cards.

Yes, 2x 760's will be beast and will handle 4K fine, a bit overkill but very nice!

What PSU do you have? just saying 700 watt is not enough, need to know brand and model.
They can say 700 watt but it doesnt mean it outputs 700 watt.

the psu is a thermaltake litepower 700w atx 12v 2.3 this is all i know about my psu.
So about the gpu i am thinks that the 700 series of nvidia are new series so i will be able to fine them in the market for the next 2 years so i wanna take a 760 now and when the new nvidia series comes out probably will be the 800 series and the price of 760 will drop down i will make it sli and with these cards i will have 4 gb of vram so both monitor will run perfectly
P.S if the psu i not engough or is not good what i should take that will support sli gtx 760 so shall i take the:
1)corsair cs750M
2)corsair tx750
3)corsair tx 850

I have been able to conclude that the PSU you have now is not even of bronze quality, you should be able to SLI with current PSU but upgrading would not hurt.

A TX750 will do, it has 80% power efficiency so you should get full and constant 600watt netto power.

Whilst with current estimate your at 500 watt real power, plus bronze is atleast better quality then not bronze at all.

If you have the money Gold would be nice and would last you a long time, but it costs 150 dollars, insane prices these days.

GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125462 I wanted to take the EVGA and not the Gigabyte but the gigabyte one costs 60 euros less from that site and i dont think that it worths the 60 euros more
Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131992R

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139006

So this is what i am thinking to go for but i dont know about the gpu cause i heard that to play bf4 on windows 7 you need to have amd cards the nvidia ones have very very low fps only in windows 7 do you think that this will be patched when the game comes out or is a trick of AMD(amd paid EA to do that) to push the bf fanboys to buy amd cards and not nvidia if this is true and is not a bug but will be in the game i will go for a 7970 ghz cause i want to play bf4 on ultra and not in medium cause of that bug with the nvidia cards. It might be a drivers problem too but i dont really know so i will wait untill november when the game comes out so i will be sure for my decision

i recommend waiting for the R9-290 / 290x cards, it will be a completly new GPU and not a rebrand, those cards will destroy BTF4 completly! indeed BTF4 favors AMD bigtime it seems.
Remember that BTF4 is not optimized properly, its just a beta, but like i said its not a secret BTF4 favors the red team.

The reason i tell you this is because a 770 is exepensive and a R9-290 / 290x will cost about the same.

The reason i say this is because its out in a week, the NDA will be gone and BTF4 is included in a Bundle i believe.

Also i see your going all out! man ubeatable system, very very nice, might as well go the extra mile and get a Corsair HX750 gold PSU, that will be the cherry on the pie and guarantee rocksolidness.

And i am very confident that with the chosen case and such a PSU those 2 components will last you a very very long time.

I also forgot to mention i was not happy with the white color lol, but thats preference, i bought white for a diffrence thats all, and the case is highly modable which i am planning to do in the future.

I see my computer almost has a new familiemember, a new sibling.

Anywayz what i regret i didnt do is get a CL8 or CL7 memory, it costs practicly just as much as CL9 Ram.

The speed diffrence wont be noticeable too much but we spent a big amount of money and want it to be perfect.!

Oh i just noticed that i gave you the wrong ram the ram i picked is a corsair ventage cl9 2133 Mhz 8gb (2x4)
and something else does this case have room for cable management?cause i hate chaos and especially with this case which has window it wont looking nice with cables infront of the gpu board etc.
I might take the gold plate for the psu, after 1-1,5 months the price will probably drop and i might go for it
I was thinking about the new amd series but they haven't arrived in Greece yet i want to believe they will come here by the time BF4 release if they does i probably go for R9-290 / 290x
Ty a lot for your help!! :p

Yes it has cable management like every case! ya it has a window i am looking for Kathode UV lights for inside, they cost like 10 euros and will illuminate the white inside the case! will look cool i guess!.

Go only for the higher then 1600mhz ram if you want to overclock the ram as well, i found it a waste of money doing so but if you know what your doing go ahead. You will only see a slight boost when editing.

Its not like i will plug in the ram and lets go! its 1600mhz + , some extra info:

Every wondered how people can game on old systems with 4-8 gb of ram of 400mhz?

Its because its CL2! lol here check this out, fun to know about: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Understanding-RAM-Timings/26/2

After all its hobby!.

No problem anytime, will answer all your questions, you can thank me by picking a solution!.

And damn you have a nice system!
