Hi All,
First, here are my system specs
MSI Z77-G45
Core i5 3570k
Xigmatec 92mm CPU cooler
8 gb ram
radeon hd 7950

I can't seem to get my CPU to overclock. When i go into bios and disable and enable all the features listed in the sticky here on toms titled "2500k - 2600k....", I adjust the multiplier to just 36 and yet, running hyperpi and watching the clock on CPU-z, the multiplier does not go over 34 and the clock stays at 3400 mhz, even at a consistent 100% cpu usage.

How do i get my system to apply the overclocks?
Thx in advance

In the BIOS, did you switch to Overclock mode?

I have one of the big brothers of that motherboard, a Z77A-GD55, and I can hit 4.2 GHz easily. I'd imagine your board could get close to that.
