I built my computer a week ago and i was using the switch on the power supply to turn it off and on. I did not think that i had to hook up the front pannel power button because i would just use the power switch on the psu. so i turned off my computer with the thing in the start menu while the psu switch was still on. Now my computer wont turn back on and i need to acess a file for school ASAP. will i have to hook up my front pannel connecters?

If you have the diagram showing what pins do what on the front panel connector on the motherboard (should be in the motherboard's manual), you can CAREFULLY short them together. It's the same thing that the front panel switch actually does.

Personally, I'd recommend hooking up the front...
