Wait for the benchmarks of the R9 280X and 270X. The card release tomorrow.

Hi there, both of the cards slomo4sho has mentioned are close the cost of the MSI card you're looking at. Specifically, the R9 270X will run about $199 (with 2GB of GDDR5) and the R9 280X $299 (3GB GDDR5). And both cards will run BF4 nicely since it's optimized for AMD GPUs.

The 760 can handle pretty much any game you throw at it at 1080 resolution. The Asus card you chose is a great card and has excellent cooling.
As long as you have a decent cpu and psu you are good to go.

Ok great! And will these cards perform better than the 760? Well the one that I want? And when do those cards come out? Thanks.

Your 8350 will do just fine. :-) And so will your existing PSU (normally a 550w is sufficient, so you're good on this front)

Keep an eye open for more info, benchmarks, and outlets (i.e. Newegg, TigerDirect, Amazon, etc) tomorrow ;-)

Ok, great! And the one I would be going for is the R9 270X because I am on a budget, and with this card outdo the the 760 that I want? Thanks.
