I found a GFX card I am looking for but I don't know whether it is compatible or not with my motherboard

I am currently looking at the N760 TF 2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI for my rig but I'm not sure how to tell whether it would be compatible with my motherboard or not, my mother board being the GA-970A-UD3 AM3. Kinda new to the internals of PCs so any advice would help, thanks in advance!

It will work but but in SLI you'll be bottlenecked by the second PCI-e lane because it only runs at x4. You need a motherboard that has at least a x16 and a x8 PCI-e slot. But a single card will work no problem.

Like I said I'm kinda new, so does this mean that my motherboard will limit what my Graphics card can do?
