should i upgrade my gtx 660? im starting to see minimum system requirements near gtx 660.

the only game though that i care about is watch dogs but i know that the specs that were released weren't correct but still im wondering if i should think about upgrade.

it seems that its just a few games but i just got the card a year so im not sure

660 is mid range card. Well what game you have in mind other than watch dog? If you dont want to spend your money for something that you might not needed then i suggest you wait until the game comes out. If you're not satisfied then upgrade your gpu

i was reading that call of duty ghost the minimum was gtx 550ti so i wasnt sure how well i would run it. it also seems like since the next gen consoles are coming out the requirements for games went up by alot

660 is a whole lot faster than 550 ti. Maybe even more than twice the performance of 550. The next gen game definitely going to have a bit jump in hardware requirement for pc but for now 660 will be good in most games. Also just because the new console comes out it doesn't mean all the game that coming out right after that suddenly becoming more demanding

I would steer clear of upgrading as long as you can (try around 16 months if you can give or take) Reason being in about 5 months the new 800 series will be released, give or take, a year from then (give or take) the new 900 or whatever series will be released and then you can upgrade and you will be set for a long time. If you upgrade from a 660 to a say 770 you didnt really upgrade at all because you just went from a high graphics with maybe shadows and anti aliasing turned off to that stuff being turned on where as in 2 years you would just need to upgrade...again

So if you can hold out and just live with now playing on full utra and live with high - medium you will be better off in nearly 2 years. plus with the cash you saved you can instead of having a medium card then have a top of the range one like a 980 or possibly even a 990...

Always plan ahead because technology gets old tomorrow.

That CPU is still fairly good man, if you REALLY want to upgrade right now then get a 770 or 780 but if you can at least wait for the Maxwell series in like 5 or so months.
