Then i would save up. Getting a 6xxx series card is 2 generations behind and the performance increase is worth the extra money. Do what you want, but I would avoid a 6xxx card.
The 6670 is really getting on a bit now for basically the same price you could get the new 7730:

It's not as good as the 7750 but offers the same if not better performance than the 6670 and is more compatible going forward I would guess.
If you can stretch to the 7750 though it would be worth the difference.
