What parts are holding me back?

Hello, I have what once was a very good gaming desktop that I am now looking to upgrade before the next generation of games hit. Even now on some games there is very severe ghosting especially on games I know my graphics card should be able to handle. Here are my current specs.

CPU-AMD Phenom II X6 1100T 3.30GHz

Video Card-NVIDIA 560 Ti 2gb

Ram- 8Gb ddr3 1600mhz

Storage- Single 500Gb Hitachi hard drive

Motherboard-ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3

Other notes- CPU does not overheat so that is not a factor with games

Yes like lines or bars of frame being left behind for a split second. Could some of these games just be poorly optimized? Im using an HDMI cable I think its fine

I don't believe so. It seems to be fine for most applications and Xbox ect. Just some games seem to ghost worst than others. for example. original crysis and darksiders to name a few. games like battlefield 3 on high run almost perfect only slight ghosting when things really pick up

Power supply?

It also depends on the games you would be playing on it as well. The reason why the x6 is not as fast as a Phenom II x4 or an Intel i5 is because of the architecture speed.

Since the processor you have has 6-cores, it is slower than a higher clocked AMD quad core, since most games only use 2 or so threads.

I have the same problem with high contrast ratio places in games. I have not found a solution for my issue, but some people think that if the display cable (DVI, HDMI or whatever it might be) crosses or gets too close to power cables, that this ghosting can happen.
