The link you gave me was to a case haha. Out of curiosity, will it work with the lga 2011 socket of my motherboard?

I'm a bit skeptical of that power supply. It is cheaper yes, but a lot of builds that I have seen utilize the corsair psus, so SEASONIC is a bit out of my element. Can you go into a little bit of depth between the Psu I chose and the one you recommended?

LOL! My apologies for that. That is the case I want for a BUDGET build, but if I had the money I would've gone with a Corsair 500r. Anyways, I have updated the link, but just in case, here it is: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116939 Also, the CPU itself is a 2011 socket CPU so yes, it should work with a socet 2011 motherboard

There is a whole article in this same website and will definitely answer your question. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/317442-28-seasonic-corsair

I have to say that you've really peaked my curiousity with that CPU! Now, I don't know much about the one you've showed me, so can you break down the difference between the two? Or at the very least, explain some simple differences for me? I would research this, but I'm on my phone ATM so yeah.

After reading that, SEASONIC does seem to have more people backing it. I'll look into it when I get to my desktop though. I'd like a personal recommendation from you though If you'd be as kind to give me one

Sure, I'd be glad to help but I must warn you that I am 14 and will try my best to explain everything. The cpu I listed is the newest of the family because with Intel, it goes a long way back but to shorten things up, it goes Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge(the one you chose), then Haswell. Ivy Bridge-E(Haswell), is the newest of the intel cpu family. The one I listed is also faster than the one you listed. Why not get a newer cpu that might be future proof for a little while for $10 more? The new Haswell series also have better graphics than its previous generation Ivy Bridge models. The difference is only in like 5-10 fps for the graphics. Also, the Hawell series consume less power. Finally, overclocking is similar to the previous generation model. But in this situation, it's like you have the money for the s3 but the s4 costs $10 more( just giving an example), so the s4 would be the better choice. Hope I helped!

Well that is most certainly very interesting. I'll learn to do my homework before I go out picking parts again haha, well all I need now is a Psu, and I'm still split between corsair and SEASONIC. Which do you think I should go with?

Well, both are very well both known brands, but personally I have no idea why but I like Corsair as a favorite. The only thing is the price for me because I'm 14(soon to be 15 in December), but my dad is the kind of person to save money so he'll probably go with something cheap. I would go with Corsair IF you have the money. Also, IF you want to wait till December, cpu prices MIGHT drop, but your pc looks like you have the money and all so you're good. I'd say the 850W PSU is good enough but if you want to overclock and do stuff like intense gaming, video editing, photo shop and stuff that business computers can handle, then a 1200W PSU is good. Hope I really helped! It's actually fun helping people! Good luck with your build. ;)
