For triple monitors, you're going to want something with a lot of VRAM. The R9 290X is apparently going to have 4GB of it. Keep your eye out for the benchmarks.

The performance would be similar, wait to see if prices drop after the new cards release, they almost definitely will, and if all prices drop evenly then get something like this 589 after MIR currently: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131483
