I was wondering if I could use one 6GB 7990 for 3 monitors on max settings for FC3, or would it be better to go for 2X 3GB 7970 cards? also if crossfire. Is there any micro atx case that can handle two 7970's. I am just exploring options.

yeah I'm just waiting until I get the money to build, plus after the release two 7990's should be about the same amount as two 7970's after a little while, I hope. but with these particular cards which would you recommend?

For triple monitors, you're going to want something with a lot of VRAM. The R9 290X is apparently going to have 4GB of it. Keep your eye out for the benchmarks.

The performance would be similar, wait to see if prices drop after the new cards release, they almost definitely will, and if all prices drop evenly then get something like this 589 after MIR currently: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

But like I said wait a couple weeks and see how the launch of the new cards plays out
