How much CPU do I need?

First off im on a budget of $150-200. I am thinking of a FX-8320, but do I really need that much power? I play a really CPU game called Rigs of Rods, Its very CPU heavy vehicle sim. And i would like to get good FPS in that as well. It starts to lag when i join a 64p BF3 server and BF4 is almost completely unplayable, even when i'm the only one in the game. I don't really get much CPU lag in games. When I play BF3 my CPU bottlenecks my GPU. Could you recommend me a CPU that will match this system. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/dollflow/saved/2j71

I would definitely look into an FX-8000 series CPU, especially since games are utilizing more cores and just the power of CPU's in general. If you can afford to I highly recommend the FX-8350

What wrong with my MB? I know its not a real expensive one but it works for me. It says its compatible with FX processors.

BTW, when i try to play a game that uses Unreal Engine, my pc power surges. Do you happen to know why? I know my psu is junk, but it shouldn't power surge only when i play games with Unreal Engine. When it happens, my whole pc shuts down for a couple seconds then i get a error msg saying that my "MB has detected a power surge and shut down to keep components safe." Any idea why this happens?
