I am using Windows Vista and have an ATI Radeon HD 4650 graphics card. I just downloaded the current Catalyst Control Center along with the newest driver for it, but now my resolution only has two options: 1024x768, and 800x600. Normally my screen runs at 1980x1020 with a 16:9 aspect ratio at 60 Hz. My monitor is an HP w2338h. I did not remove the old drivers before downloading and I have read in multiple forums that it can cause issues with the newer drivers. My issue here is now I don't see any remnant of the older version, and only the new version of CCC and its driver. Should I just remove the new one altogether and download it again?

I also have a worry; my integrated (I think I am using that right) GPU is some family chipset that is built in to the MoBo, but i dont have any drivers for it. If and when I uninstall the CCC files will I still be able to use the Radeon Card to see my screen or is there some other method I am supposed to take when removing drivers? I guess I am just really paranoid about removing things from my system if it will affect my ability to use it.

Any assistance would be much appreciated!

Yes, I would suggest doing a clean install of the drivers. You will still be able to use the graphics card for your display even without drivers. To check which one you are currently using look at "screen resolution" where it'll say for example HP w2338h on ATI Radeon 4600 series.
