I'm considering to buy a hd 7750 . My psu is a local one with 450 W claimed supply.
it has 14A on +12V at 450 W.
I dont know what all these means... Any help would be appreciated... if you think I need to upgrade a psu, suggest me one under 2000 INR.

14A * 12V = 168W. Pretty low, more so for a "450W" PSU. The 7750 will use around 60W of that, leaving you with 100W for the rest of the system including the CPU. If you have a 95W CPU then its a bad idea. If you have a lower end dual core you'll probably be ok.

I've got Athlon ii x4 635 as a processor.
Will that psu odyseey 450 W suffice for hd 7750 gfx card?

currently I have 9400 gt, purchased long time back.. it ran without problems.. But now games like bioshock infinite doesn't run on it.

95W CPU. Wouldn't try it. You'd need to upgrade the PSU.

I would be grateful if you could suggest me a decent psu.. 2000- 2500 INR or 30-40 USD. Thanks for your advice.

I would not try that on that processor whatsoever. I would recommend an upgraded power supply.

I chose 7750 as I saw in the forum that it doesn't need much power.. Wouldn't it be better if I went for a 500W PSU and gtx 650 Ti boost?

It depends on the power supply you chose. Some 500W power supplies barely even put out 250W.
