GB to Asus board - will my processor and memory swap?

I have a GA-Z68X-UD3h-B3 board with 16 GB CORSAIR CMZ16GX3M2A1600C924 RAM and an I5-2400 CPU in a Coolermaster case with a 650 W power supply. I want to swap boards, and I am looking at an ASUS P8-Z77-V LK motherboard. Everything I can find says that processor and ram will just swap over to the new board.

Can anyone confirm that for me? Sound like I am on the right track?

I need the virtualization settings, and the GB bios does not offer them. Their tech support said to go buy one of their server class boards, but the ASUS has those options, and costs less.

If you can help, I would appreciate it.

They are both socket 1155 board so there should be no problem with swapping motherboards. Though there may be a problem with Windows with out a re-install. In general Windows does not like motherboard transplants so if at the worst you might have to re-install Windows but other than that there should be no problems.

OK, just wanted to hear someone else say that. And the re-install is no biggie. I've had server on and off of here 3 or 4 times, win 7 and 8, linux, and even esxi. Just trying to learn some things. ;)

Thank you.
