Hey everyone!

I know this might sound like a stupid question to most of you, but I just want to make sure I'm right about this. =)

Basically, will an AM2+ waterblock fit on an AM3+ socket?

Cheers for any answers!

Does no one here actually know the answer or something? XD

As long as they motherboard hole location for the mounting is the same, it will fit. I am not aware of any changes in hole location since AM2/AM2+. The factory heatsink design hasn't really changed significantly since the s754 days. Just the mounting holes for the factory board bracket. I think it went from a 2 hole design to a 4 hole one. I do remember needing a different bracket for one aftermarket cooler I had on a S939 board and wanted to put it on an AM2+ board. If it is some kind of waterblock that uses the factory mounting system, it will fit without question.
