unable to connect my tv to wifi!!

hey, so i have had the Toshiba 55L7200U for about a year and i have never been able to connect it to the internet, whenever i try it always says "unable to find access code" i would like to think i know what im doing... but clearly i am over my head, anybody please able to help?

How are you trying to set it up? what wireless mode are you selecting at the start when you start setting up the network? There is Easy setup-button push, easy setup-pin, assisted setup, and manual. Which one are you trying? button push and pin are dependant on your router and what it can do.

i have tried every solution that my tv allows me to try, i would think going through the assisted setup and scanning for my wifi then adding password would allow me to connect, but its unable to find access code
