Best graphic card for 260$ Max?

Solution

Here you go Sir 1$ under budget. http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GDDR5-2GB-WINDFORCE-GV-N760OC-2GD-REV2-0/dp/B00DGM8B6O/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1381242117&sr=8-2&keywords=gtx+750

if it's too expensive then get this one:

http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-SUPERCLOCKED-Graphics-02G-P4-2662-KR/dp/B00966IREK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1381242260&sr=8-1&keywords=gtx+660

Avoid ATI their Crossfire has some serious bugs, Their drivers are still developing and they tend to heat a lot, if you get ATI make sure you've got good airflow.

However as Charmer said, they have 128bit which is not a big deal cause when u overclock it's barely notceable

Here are the Best of ATI and Nvidia:

ATI:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202003&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Nvidia:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125466&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

I would suggest going for the ATI cos of the extra 1 GDDR5 and the extra 128-bit (it will be noticable in future games)

Anyway you'll go youre gonna Enjoy :)

Actually the MSI Twin Frozr performs better then the gigabyte and EVGA versions. That is the price i was working with and that is the card that I went with. The R9 280x isn't worth the extra money they are throwing benchmarks out with their MSI twin frozr edition of that card vs lower performing GTX 760 editions to make the gap larger.
