hi everyone..

I got an FX8320 OC'd to 4.7GHz and I'm cooling it using the Corsair H100 280mm..

it sits idle at 35c and on intensive load at 47c..

I'm using the stock fans that came with the H100 and I'm not sure if I'm getting the best out of it..

from the fan looks they don't seem to have enough SP to push air through the rad.. (I have no idea if that is in fact needed with this rad)

I thought of running a p/p config but I can't seem to find the best fans to do that, maybe u guys can suggest some good ones.. or if pull or push would be enough with certain fans

I don't care about the cost but I do have to mention that I'm using the Corsair Vengeance C70 case and using the Asrock 990FX extreme 9 board in case the p/p config is not doable

thanks in advance

Solution
As I'm doing my research I have come to a conclusion that the H100 stock fan are just efficient for dissipating heat so there is no need to use any after-market fans.

thanks for the help :)

R those 140mm fans?

No but you can easily pick up 140 to 120mm adapters, if you don't fancy that there are some 140mm fans that are pretty good rad fans:
Noctua NF-A14 FLX
Akasa Viper PWM 140mm (the static pressure of this fan seems really high, not sure if it's legit).

well.. i still didnt figure out how much SP is needed per FPI cus the H100 has around 20 FPI as ive heard

Certainly 20 FPI is on the high side, so the radiator is pretty dense and so you'll need high static pressure fans.
How much SP is needed? Well I think that's going to be pretty difficult to figure out, I think you'd have to do your own real world tests as you can't rely on the manufacturers fan specifications (see here: http://martinsliquidlab.org/2013/02/18/why-static-pressure-max-flow-specs-are-poor-measures-of-fan-performance/)

I think the best you can do is find out what other people are using with high density radiators and how much success they've had.
