What liquid cooler should I get?

I am building a new PC for gaming and I want to give liquid cooling a go. I was looking at the H100i but read tons of bad reviews. For around $100 what cpu cooler could I get? Thanks

What CPU/mobo, liquid is often a waste a money, with most the Hyper 212 EVO cools as well as a H80, takes a H100 to top it, and it's $35, compared to the H100's $100+ price tag, that's $65 that could go to a better GPU, SSD or DRAM
