Trying to Run Ps3 with my PC monitor, HELP!

Hi, I want to connect VGA Monitor to my PS3, and I want to know what kind of converter should I buy. Is it the MALE VGA TO FEMALE HDMI CONVERTER OR THE OTHER WAY, OR OTHER ALTERNATIVE, THX IN ADVANCE, Cheers :)!

That depends on the monitor. Does the monitor have a female VGA port (common on LCD monitors) or just a VGA cable sticking out (was common on CRT monitors)? Alternatively, you can get a VGA cable that connects to the "AV multi out" port of the PS3, and with that you wouldn't need a hdmi to vga converter.

HI, thx for the reply my monitor have the female VGA port. The reason why I wanted to buy a converter is because my Monitor doesnt have audio input with it so I'm tryna get a converter with 3.55mm input. But the question is which should i Buy "MALE VGA TO FEMALE HDMI CONVERTER OR THE OTHER WAY"..

You want to make sure it takes the hdmi as the input and outputs to the vga, but which end is male and which is female is less critical. One that's male vga and female hdmi will go at the monitor end with an hdmi cable between there and the ps3. One that's male hdmi and female vga can go at the ps3 end with a vga cable between it and the monitor. I think the ps3 vga cables also have separate audio outputs, though they might be RCA-style instead of 3.5mm.
