the Gigabyte mobo is what you want if you intend to overclock. if you dont intend to overclock, then you can use the H87 mobo and you can also get the cheaper non-K cpu.

the included intel cpu cooler is fine if you do not intend to overclock...if you do, then you will want an aftermarket cooler (hyper 212 EVO is a good inexpensive choice)

8GB of RAM is all you need for gaming

for your PSU, go with Seasonic. XFX or Corsair and a minimum of 500W

Thanks for your input! but i was debating if i should overclock or not? is there any cons to overclocking? being the pro is making it run faster?

and is everything comptatiable with each other?

thanks!

in most instances there is no need to OC... after your system is a few year old it is common to OC to get slightly better performance. However, most people just upgrade to new a CPU (and mobo's).

risks include: Reducing the life of your cpu/gpu, and your system may become unstable
keep in mind, if you OC you may have to increase your PSU wattage and you will need an aftermarket CPU cooler
