I currently have Win 7 Ultimate. When 8.1 releases, I was thinking of finally upgrading to it. Is it actually worth it? Or should I just stick with Win 7?

More about : finally upgrade win

Thats all up to you. Do you like the Win8 concept? 8.1 is not THAT much different.

If you like and are satisfied with 7, I'd say stay there.
My main PC is Win8, and will be upgrading to 8.1 in a couple of weeks.

On a secondary laptop, I've been using 8.1 since the early preview, and I like it.

Well I've been wanting to upgrade to 8. But I like the more added support for desktops with 8.1, so thats why I wanted to wait till 8.1.

Then go for it. But wait until it is actually released next week, not the existing Preview version.
