Getting new motherboard & CPU tomorrow, do I need to uninstall Windows 8 or something?

I honestly am not sure what to do. I'm not going to back up my HDD because theres not a lot of things on it that are important.

I bought Windows 8 at Wal-Mart (not Pro) and I know its one key per computer so how do I go about this?

Just activate you you did before.

If you have to, call Microsoft and say that you got a new HDD. License keys are tied to the computer itself, not the HDD.

If you just try to load your current installation with your new hardware, you will most likely blue screen.

Good luck, keep us posted.
