Ok I am wanting to get a M5A97 R2.0, but what are "pci" slots. My Graphics card says it uses some sort of pci slot (gtx 770 lassified) and my internet card says it uses a "pci express" slot. (Tp link N900 pci express) What does it all mean?

Solution
Both cards will use the PCI Express slots - the graphics card will use the Express 3.0 slot, which is the fastest. The TP-Link will use one of the slower ones - you will see by the length of the connectors on the bottom of each card. PCI was the original (legacy) type of card, originally used for eg graphics( then AGP slot) and soundcards and some mobos still have this, but the new PCI express is much faster in terms of bandwidth.
