Hello, I have a WD 2TB external that is less than 2 years old that wont read on my laptop. It will connect and show as the F drive, but will not open, it just shows busy. Someone mentioned that I could hook directly to a desktop like a regular HD and retrieve the information on it. Is this true? If not, is there another way to save it?
