Ok try 1.45 volts manual and see what happens. If it is stable you can raise frequency or lower voltage. If unstable, raise voltage, but no higher than 1.5v. Temps under 60c are fine.

so i increased the multiplier to 45 left cpu ofset voltage at auto and ran prime95 and got a MASSIVE APU temp spikes. before at base clock speed it would only hit 27C at max while running prime95 i got temp spikes of 45C+. and it dont restrt it just gets really freakin hot :??:

with that said if i keep rebooting in to bios will the constant reboots damage windows or hardware components.

im a complete noob at overclocking srry for all the questions :(

I'm trying to find stable voltages. What are yours at 4.6? I had my pc running at 4.5 and when I alt-tabbed a game my pc froze and I had to restart..Keep in mind it was SWTOR and it may have just been the game that messed something up. I was wondering why my pc froze because I've never had temps over 45C...Any help would be help.

I went with the APU cause that's what a friend recommended. I will get the a10-7850k January 12th or 14th (can't remember the exact date) but with my 5800k oc'd to 4.5ghz and 7870 it has been great. Btw I'm getting the new a10 because I already have the motherboard that has the FM2 socket. Obviously lol

#1 before overclocking, Set your RAM to the proper speed in BIOS. (You/we can't set the RAM to proper speed after OCing the CPU or APU.) I'm using GSkill @ 2400. #2 Use the AI Suite II software that came with your MoBo to increase processor speed. I'm at 4.4
