I know you said 500-600W but mine range from 620W to 700W. There's not much price difference really so I think this is a good way to go.

Okay, I realize this one is $90 but it's a really good PSU and additionally doesn't have the annoying MAIL IN REBATE to deal with.

$65 to $70 (no MIR):

2) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151096

3) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182278

I don't have any issues with the ones suggested ABOVE either (except the MIR thing).

Points:
- skim through the customer reviews for any product to get a feel for it
- See what the Mail In Rebate entails. Some are an incredible hassle. For EXAMPLE->
download and print, then mail, then get a card not cash which you have to use in six months are else pay $3 per month.

MIR's exist because people forget to use them or just give up because it's not worth the hassle but it still costs them. I recently helped a guy with a PC build and he had EIGHT MIR's on his list which totalled $160 and he would have to process each one.
