Which one to go for is largely dependent on your budget. If it's closer to $100, then you may have to settle for i3 and if closer to $200, then you may be able to pick an i5.

Don't go for the ones that end with K, your mother board wont benefit from them, unless you plan to also upgrade your board shortly. Also, don't go for the 4xxx series processors, they won't work with your board.

Lastly, any one of the newer generation processors will be a good upgrade compared with what you currently have. Do keep in mind that 2xxx processors will work right away, but the 3xxx series may (will) need a ROM upgrade, as mentioned by someone above.

I'd recommend a 3xxx series just because they are some what energy efficient compared with the 2xxx...
because it is 1155 socket, i hope you can use i5 3470 ivy bridge

but still need recheck compatibility

edit : it is compatible :) http://processormatch.intel.com/CompDB/SearchResult.aspx?BoardName=DH67CL

no, you dont need K version, because it is already powerful enough, and i doubt you can OC using intel mobo, they are usually basic/standard mobo dude

dont forget to upgrade the GPU too, i suggest getting GTX 760 or AMD R9 270X

If you were to place a K series processor on the motherboard, you would not be able to overclock the unlocked multiplier, since the board has a H67 chipset.

Being that it is a H67 chipset, any Sandy Bridge processor would drop right in and work perfectly. Ivy Bridge would work as well, but you may need to flash the BIOS of the motherboard to get it to work, maybe not.

What 720W PSU are you running?

Also, you might benefit more from a GPU upgrade atm. The GT430 is by no means slow, but not quick either.

Do you have a budget?

How do you add your pc specs into your description? I've been looking on how to do that for a while.
