Hello, I have a total of 10 fans in my Cooler Master Storm Stryker. I have two SP120 fans on my Hyper 212 EVO in push/pull, two SP120 fans on top for exhaust, one SP140 fan at the rear for exhaust, 2 intake fans at the front, followed by a 200mm and 120mm fan to further push the intake air, and I also have one 120mm fan on the bottom as intake.

More about : fans counter productive

The EVO doesn't get a performance boost with 2 fans.

Bottom fans are a waste.

Depends on how they are mounted. The top and rear exhaust are fine as are the Front and botto, intake and of course the CPU fans are fine. I have the same for exhaust Two 120mm on top and one at the rear. I have a 200mm in front for intake. I don't have a provision in the bottom for an intake as my SSD cage is where that would be. I don't see any point in mounting one on the side as it may disrupt the airflow anyway.

It sounds like you're stacking them in a way to get past some sort of resistance? Similar to how you have your Hyper 212 in push/pull.

I think one of the benefits to running multiple fans is that you can run them at lower speeds to reduce overall noise.
