Hi,
I'm having trouble with getting 2 networks working on my laptop at the same time.
One network is wired where I'm wired in directly into a network vlan where I have hvac control devices on that subnet. This network does not have internet.
The other network is a wireless connection which has internet thru a guest account.
These 2 networks are on different subnets.
My laptop is running win7 32 bit.
When I'm using the wireless connection I can get to the internet without a problem but as soon as I plug in my wired connection the wireless connection stops working.
I've tried the Bridge function in Windows and that didn't work. I found the setting in my wireless adapter and the spot to disable the disconnect the wired connection if wireless is running is set where it doesn't disable.
I've changed the priority order of wired and wireless and that doesn't matter.
The reason I need to have both connections going at the same time is because I need my company's tech guru to take control of my computer by using Teamviewer software to troubleshoot the control devices on the wired network that I'm connected to.
I've looked at a lot of posts put haven't found an answer yet.
How do I accomplish this? There must be a way.
Thanks,
Scott
