Another Build Advise Inquiry

I'm looking for advise on a build for <1K for gaming. I would like at least a 120gb ssd and an all in one liquid cpu cooler. Overclocking would be nice but not a must. Nothing too flashy on the case. AMD or intel would be fine. Also no pref on nvidia vs amd. I already have a decent storage HD, optical drive, KB/mouse, copy of windows. Thanks for the help.

I have not put in a gpu as the new amd cards have dropped and are not up yet to put in as a price and nvidia is dropping there gpu prices. it take a few days for both to catch up.

to the op the r9 270x price point that i see is 220 for the asus card with 3g of ram.
the old card was the 7870 that it replaced.

intel make the best gaming cpu. amd cpu cant beat the intel i5 or i7 cpu. if you look online most of the test setups when they test gpu use intel cpus.
