Good Day to all,

I just want to know what would be the best cable connecting my Monitor and Video Card for best resolution / quality / signal

• HDMI - M to DVI - D
• DVI - I to DVI - I
• DVI - D to DVI - D
• VGA to VGA (with DVI Adapter)

Thank you for your replies

Solution
DVI-D and Display port are the only cables that can do 1080p at 120 hz. However the monitor has to support those refresh rates as well. Only select gaming monitors will run at 120 to 144hz.

im not familiar with monitors, but another question sir.. judging on what you've just said. the cable dictates the speed of refresh rate of display (144hz).. because i am currently using 75hz even though i have good Video and Monitor i cant increase it even further..

I agree with Psykhiq, the best connection is one that doesn't have VGA in it.

For your 1080p 75hz screen, it wouldnt matter whether you used HDMI or DVI. Use whichever you have a spare cable of, or if the monitor has an audio passthrough or speakers, use HDMI.
