Howdy folks! :)

My HDD is corrupted so I replaced it. Bought an enclosure so I am now seeing it as a regular usb. I can access my files BUT what I want to do is to clone several programs from C drive and recreate it in my new drive (same OS win 7) not necessarily all the c drive and OS since it is so large (75GB) because just to copy 1gb files from this corrupted hdd to new hdd takes 3-4 hours.

I am not an expert so I appreciate and glad to take any advice from you.

one of the software I want to recreate is ebay Turbo lister which unfortunately I did not back up, the back up existing is from 3 months ago and a lot has been modified since. :(

This is what I've done. installed turbo lister then replace the files with files from old hdd. its no use it seems

anyone out there who can tell me how to do it?

Thank you so much

When you install Windows on a new drive, applications from your old drive must be re-installed from scratch on your new drive, using the original installation media or the downloaded setup package.

The only way to avoid having to do that is to clone your entire old drive (including the OS) to the new, empty drive.
However, since your old drive is corrupted, that isn't a viable option.

copied everything from data files then installed same program then rewrite new datas wilth old one. I successfully raised the dead!

To some who have similar problems just try total uninstall to find all the files you need to copy.
