Possible SSD Failure

I tried turning on my computer today around 6PM and it would repeatedly turn on for 1-2 seconds then off for 1-2 second. It was working just fine earlier this morning around 1AM before I shut it down and went to sleep. This was my first time encountering any problem since I made this computer back in Dec. 2011.

To fix this, I reseated all the components in my computer and finally got it to turn on. The first couple times I turned it on, I would encounter different problems like my screen being frozen, being unable to move my mouse, and not being able to open programs. I reseated my SSD to fix these problems and it worked... for the most part.

Although I can use most things on my computer normally, I cannot open some programs installed on my SSD (the things on my HDD work just fine). My OS is installed on my SSD and I am unsure what the problem is since I can turn on my computer just fine. I appreciate any and all help!

My SSD: SSD 120G|INTEL SSDSA2CW120G3B5 R

As far as I know, I haven't updated or done anything in regards to my drives after I first installed everything.

I installed and used the trial version of hdsentinel on my SSD and it said that both of my drives are at optimal health. Then my computer turned off by itself when I tried looking around the program. Now I'm even more confused because it doesn't seem like my SSD is at fault here.

... it would repeatedly turn on for 1-2 seconds then off for 1-2 second. ...

The system is stuck in a POST (i.e. Power On Self Test) boot loop.

Have you tried clearing the CMOS? Refer to your motherboard's manual for instructions on how to do this properly.

Did you connect a POST beep speaker to the speaker terminals on the motherboard's front panel header to determine if there are any beep codes that may point to the cause?
