Hi, just a quick question here before I take the plunge into triple monitor gaming, what connectors am I going to need to run 3 monitors. I have a gtx 780 and currently have 2 dual link dvi cables hooked up to 2 120hz monitors(one of which I am selling) and I was wondering what cables or adapters I would need to run 3 monitors in total.( 1 at 120hz, and 2 at 72hz)

Are you attempting to play games on all three monitors? If so, they all have to be the same resolution and refresh rate (you can just set the resolutions and refresh rates to the same value).

And you can use one of the two unused connections: HDMI or DisplayPort.

Are you going to be using 3D?

I plan on just doing 2d surround at 5760x1080, I was just wondering if I would be able to have the monitors running at different refresh rates, which I can't I assume.

No, you can't, unless you aren't using the other two monitors for gaming.
