is it avid compatible ? i mean is the Gpu (2xGtx 780m 4gb) good for editing videos ?
Are there any other options than alienware which are more or atleast have same power ? Or should i build my own Desktop ? however i want a laptop, but if it isn't good for editing HD videos, than i can go for a desktop.
The configuration i've decided to buy is i7 49000mq(4.0 Ghz), 16gb Ram, 2xgtx 780m 4gb each, 750sata with 60gb msata cache. (will cost around 3564$)

I have read that a 780m sli is just a strong as a full blown PC titan.

Sorry didnt know if was about a laptop, in anyway i see this is a bad move to buy such a laptop, video editing you DONT do on a laptop unless your heading towards a client for a company and want to discuss how the client would like it with a short demo.

Dont go with the MQ go with the 4770K(MQ version is laptop processor), i preffer self built but im not sure if you know how to overclock.

I got a 4770K and 16gb of ram, both of them i fill up to the max. 32gb would be nice and then as low CL and as high Mhz as possible.

The GPU's nice pick, those are ray tracer destroyers!

I highly recommend picking your own parts and going with the list to a PC shop and let them built it, alienware costs and secretly scr*ws you.
