error in usb

I use icare Data recovery software... problem is when i open to recover data my USB not shown or F drive is not shown... and my Laptop is showing the usb drive.. when i try to open it , it prints a message format it... when i format it, it prints a message "Windows was unable to complete the Format"... any one who gives me the solution of this...

Sounds like the USB drive is bad if Windows can't format it. Try a different recovery software, Recuva is a good one to try. If that also can't read the drive, you won't be able to get data off it unless you bring it to a data recovery shop which usually costs quite a bit.
