If the laptop has been dropped or has fallen to the floor, the hard drive's read/write heads will have crashed against the data platters. This has destroyed the drive. You will need to remove the drive and install a new one.
You mean the error says that the hard drive not detected? Are you able to even bootup your computer? You can check your bios to see whether hard disk is detected. If not, you may shut down computer, and then open case, and check whether the hard drive connection is loosen.
