Hi. What video card are you using at the moment? With PCIe 3.0, you get a wider bandwidth and can move more through the pipe. This is particularly nice with the PCIe 3.0 Video Cards. You are also pretty much all USB 3.0 ( although there aren't all that many 3.0 devices out there at the moment ). Some or most board are also all SATA III with no SATA II headers. It is a much better board.
I just saw your Sig. Your Video card would benefit from going to a 3.0 board. I have been running a GTX 680 since June '12. I upgrade the processor and Motherboard the first week of June this Year and went to a 3.0 board. It makes a difference.
