I am looking for components for a computer that can be low power and low cost. I also want to include a low power and low cost video card. My goal is to at least have 60 fps in league of legends within team fights at 1080p. I would also like to have the ability to have easy access to more powerful paths for when the time is just right.

The tasks will mostly be games and non cpu intensive applications.
I am thinking that 1150 and FM2 and 1155 will be the focus point.
I looked at some cpus:
Haswell and came to: G3220, 4130t,
FM2: a10 6700
1155: G630t

Videocard: 7790? Not sure if the 6700 apu will do 60 fps on its own.

So for a cheap and good performance computer you will want an AMD proccessor.
I would go for a Fx-6100. You will also want an AMD card. Pherhaps a 7850.
These are both good good components and will deliver you about 60 fps on League of Legends and I saw someone playing bf3 max at 40 fps. (30 fps is lag free) I would also reccommend 8gb ram.

if you want to spend more than £500 you would do good with a GTX 660 and i5. But the fx-6100 has 6 cores. If you want something cheaper then get a fx 4100. This is still a good proccessor. Good luck

Right, however the problem is that- that will not help me out much. Let me explain; the TDP for the fx-6100 is around 100 watts which is higher then i want.. meaning i would have to under clock to get a more efficient setting. The real reason however is that am3+ socket is a bit outdated and now pretty much discontinued. fm2+ has an upgrade path, supports both apu and athlons, It can take the 750k which falls between both the 6100 and the 4100 and with fm2+ kaveri on the way.

As far as i can tell the newer apu and celeron will not bottleneck midrange graphics cards.
Note that my objective is to have low watt consumption and high performance to cost.
