Good day to all you Gents and Ladies.

I would really appreciate some help, please!

I have racked up over 800 hours of gameplay on Skyrim since it's release and chose to take a break for 6 months or so.

Anyway, I have got back in to it now, new playthrough (level 6).

I am having SERIOUS gaming issues. Framerate is down to between 11-30 now!!!!!!

My laptop spec is:

Win 7 Pro 64-Bit
500GB SSD
i7 Processor
8GB RAM
2GB NVidia GeForce 610m Dedicated graphics card

I've run CClean. And tried NVidia system setup (changing settings and turned off AA) but still, no joy on decent gameplay. My system is surely powerful enough to play this on high (if not ultra) with detailed and smooth graphics. The YouTube clip for the Nvidia set-up is 2 parts and the link is part 1.

I will honestly reward anyone who helps solve this problem with an agreeable amount of money (paid via PayPal). I am serious, so please help me out guys!

I will happily provide my email address for anyone who would consider helping me out.

Regards.

Hi 666,
Skyrim has some issues (mainly on consoles) of lagging once the save file becomes to big. Have you checked a new game to see if the lag decreases? Also has the hd dlc downloaded since you last played? (In steam right click Skyrim -> Properties -> Dlc tab, if installed it will be listed there).

For this particular game it's recommended to install the community patches here http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19/? . Also please use MSconfig to stop any applications that you don't need from loading at startup (see http://www.askthecomputertech.com/msconfig-startup/ if unsure).

Give these a go and please report back.
Hope that helps,
Phil

Not sure why my previous answer wasn't posted, but here's the gist of what I posted:
Basically the Nvidia 610m graphics card in your laptop isn't strong enough to play the game on anything but low settings at 720p. You can look at the performance here: http://www.notebookcheck.net/The-Elder-Scrolls-V-Skyrim-Benchmarks.66057.0.html Just search for "610m" and look at the average frame rates. Did you play through the game on this laptop before?
You'll need at least a 560m card to play on the laptop, but unfortunately the cards are usually soldered to the motherboard so you're out of luck unless you get a better gaming-orientated laptop I'm afraid.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
