Hey guys,

I have a little older Dell inspiron 586 I believe. I was looking to throw a video card on just for the occasional lan parties at my house for some League of Legends.
The psu does not have a 6pin so I need something powered from the slot itself.

From my research I concluded the 7750 was the best card for this. Although I read today some new cards were announced. The R7 240 and the R7 250.
Do either of these cards require 6 pin?
Would they be an upgrade / downgrade / sidegrade for a 7750.

Thanks for the help fella's.

They are basically the same card with a new name, maybe a few minor tweaks, but about the same.

I have a 7750 and it's a decent card. I can play the BF4 beta with my 6-core CPU at a decent FPS and lower graphics. Nothing special, but does the job.

So my question is, wait or buy 7750 now?
