I picked up a new motherboard (ASUS Z77), graphics card (GTX770), and CPU (3750k i5) yesterday. In case anybody asks, my ram is compatible.

Anyways, I've tried plugging it into the graphics card and there is no output. I've tried taking out the graphics card and plugged the DVI into the DVI-D on the motherboard, nothing shows - not even BIOS.

The computer's fans spins up when I turn it on, including the CPU and GTX770.

Interesting to note: the motherboard's ethernet port doesn't have any lights on it - but I don't know if that's how my motherboard operates. I've yet to plug in any ethernet cord to test whether the port lights up.

Any ideas?

Question I have to ask:
Have you plugged in the PCI power connectors into the GTX 770 ?

Yes, I have a weird connection though. It is a 6 pin PCI-E connector with a 2 pin addition to use if needed, then I have another 6 pin PCI-E connector. I use all 3 connections on the 8 pin, 6 pin input on the card.

Could you possibly test your graphics card on another computer ?

Also, make sure your motherboards 24pin power connector is plugged in correctly, this may be why the Ethernet port isn't lighting up.

I'll try it out when I have some freetime. I'd have to remove the motherboard and replace it with my old motherboard and that could take sometime (my case is a really tight fit). I'll double check the 24 pin connector, that is the big bar of a device that goes on the side of motherboard, right?

Yeah, also just do a general check that everything is plugged in. It's a good thing to do in problems like this.

Also verify the CPU power connector. Otherwise it sounds like a possible DOA component (most likely mobo)

Guys, I was checking out my power connection for my GPU and one of the pins in the 6 pin connector is lower than the other. Should I get some pliers and pull it up?

How do I post pictures on here?

I ended up trying my GPU on a different mobo and CPU and it didn't output a signal. I should have placed another vid card in my new mobo to test out the mobo, I will do that tomorrow. There was a bent pin on the power input for the GPU, I pushed it back successfully (carefully). Still didn't work. RMA?
