Hey all, I'm looking at putting an upgrade or two into my system.

I have up to a very maximum of £150.

My current rig is in my sig, and it beleive my gpu is the part holding it back so far, but please if you see other holes feel free to state what would be better put to use there.

I have been looking at a gpu, as given information before the nvidia gtx 650 ti boost sc 2gb, card looks pretty great, and at its current price, a bit of a bargain, but I looking to see what you all reccomend to put in to give my computer a noticeable gaming boost.

Thanks I n advance.

put a decent heatsink on your CPU and overclock it to 4.0ghz. Thats your best first step.

Second upgrade to 8gb of RAM, as current games are eclipsing the 4gb mark... BF4 actually lists 6gb needed.

then see where you stand, but i dont think it's worth upping the video card unless you're going to go to at least a 660.

Thanks both, with the price of the 650 http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2gb-evga-gtx-650-ti-boost-sc-28nm-pcie-30-6008mhz-gddr5-gpu-1072mhz-cores-768-dport-dl-dvi-hdmi. I could actually put slightly more into the system, such as better cpu cooling. But for obviouse reasons, before I put down any solid ground are there any other recommendations.

I should add, I'm looking to play games like planetside 2, guild wars 2 and x:rebirth.

Well, with the new card I'm looking to go hdmi cable into my tv, instead of VGA to a moniter, which means I'll more then likely hot the 1080p res.

So if he here're is a slight drop when trying to go maxed out crazy, maybe it'd e best if I just pickup the card on scan and have it next day delivery for tomorrow, with the hyper 212 cooler
