So, this is my first time building my own PC and I need some help because I dont really know if the components I was planning to use are compatibles together..

So, here are the components I was thinking to use :

MSI Z87-G45 Motherboard - Intel Z87 Express Chipset - Socket H3 LGA-1150
Intel Core I5-4670k 4/4cores/Threads 3.40ghz 6m Cache Lga1150
Sapphire Radeon Hd 7850 2 GB DDR5 Graphics Card 11200-07-20G
Corsair Vengeance 8 GB ( 2 x 4 GB ) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) 240-Pin DDR3 Memory Kit

Also, what kind of power supply do I need ? 500w ? or more ?
I"m planning on using an SSD for my OS. Is there something I need to know about that?
I can take care of the case..I think ? And if you have a suggestion for a cooling fan thats not too costly ?

Am I missing something ? I mostly want to play games and do a little music producing/video editing. I want something that will last at least a couples of years, and that I can easely upgrade/oveclock if needed. This is my first time, and I really dont want to f*ck it up ! Also, if you have any recommendation or if I missed something, please let me know !

I would like to keep my budget around 1000$ !

Thanks !

I'd lose that mobo, I and most builders I know won't touch MSI for builds, poor QC, maybe look at a Asus Z87-Plus or a Gryphon, both are in that general price range, Asus seems to have the best handle on the Z87 and Haswell.........if going a 7850 a good 500 PSU will be plenty, SSDs aren't that big of a deal as far as install, any problems give us a shout, on the cooler, the best bang for the buck if going to a moderate OC of 4.4 or so is the Hyper 212 EVO about $35

Thanks allot for the help ! I'm trying to buy all of my stuff on Amazon and the only Motherboard Asus I found was the Asus Intel Z87 Atx

Heres a link http://

But the link I just gave you mention ''Gryphon'' and looks like its on sale ! (356$ down to 181$)
Theres is also regular Asus Z87 ATX available for about 150$

What are your thoughts on that ? Wich one would be better (Price/Quality) ?

Theres is no mention of a SATA port, but by reading the reviews it looks like theres is ? I heard that for running a SSD a SATA port is required. So I'm thinking that now SATA III is becoming a standard in motherboard. Corect me if I'm wrong !

Also, will all the wiring come with the Motherboard and the Power Supply ? I know I'm asking a lot of question but I really dont want to mess it up ahahah !

Edit: I forgot ! Will my i5 LGA 1150 be compatible with the board ?
