Hey guys building my first gaming PC and before I order the parts I wanted to see if anyone can show me some benchmarks what prove buying the 4670 (non K edition) I do not want to over clock and am buying an asus h87 motherboard with 8gb ddr3 1600. I will be using either gtx 770 or r9 280x GPU still undecided on that. BUT would the extra $30 and 400mhz of the 4670 really add that much performance in gaming over the 4430. Am I being to Jewish? If I don't need it I don't want it. Please let me know. Thanks all!

If you are not going to overclock, get the fastest non k CPU you can afford. Some newer titles are seemingly going to be quite CPU intensive, so you will want that little bit of extra speed. BF4 is an example of such a game. Actually if more games coming out are going to be multithreaded as much as BF4 and Crysis 3 are, you may want to consider spending a bit more on a Xeon E3-1230V3. That is if you really think you need a Hawell system. Otherwise and Ivy E3-1230V2 and Asrock H77 board is a nice option and only about 5% less performance of the v3 but with better multithreaded support than a 4670.

Hmmm.. Ok cool thanks for sharing I'm interested in playing BF4. Could you please post a link to the xenon CPU and a recommended motherboard. Again I don't want to overclock. Thank you
