Hi, I'm looking to build a gaming PC (I'll give the components if it matters), I was originally going to get a i5 ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-Graphics-BX80646I74770-Ge... ) but I have decided to get an i7 instead ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00CO8TBQ0/sr=1-1/qi... ), is it worth the upgrade if I'm going to be using the computer for surfing the internet and gaming?

More about : worth upgrading

So far the only game that has been proven to benefit from Hyper Threading is Battlefield 4 and only in multiplayer mode. If you intend on playing BF 4 multiplayer a lot and buy future games based on the Frostbite Engine, then it may be worth spending the extra cash if you want the best multiplayer performance for "Frostbite games".

I MAY be playing Battlefield 4 online. I think I will stick with the i5, thanks for the help.
