Ok, so my PC has recently begun to shut down when I start playing games.
It normally happens a few seconds to a few minutes after I start the game. It never happens doing anything else, browsing and watching videos in full screen does nothing.
The screen goes black but the sound keeps going, it doesn't repeat, it keeps playing whatever music or sound file it was playing. At the same time the keyboard stops responding (I can't turn Num Lock off or on), and one of the fans inside the PC speeds up to max speed. (I think it's the GPU fan).
After that I have to restart the PC, but after the first shutdown, it won't shut down when I start playing again and I can keep playing for hours and nothing happens.
I have two examples of exactly the point in the game "startup" it happened, once it happened while loading the BF4 beta and once exactly when I hit start game on Civ 5. It first happened trying to play the WoW trial..
I recently got a new SSD and did a fresh install, but the problem only first occurred about a month after, it's been going on for a couple of weeks now.
The temperature on the GPU maxed out around 77 C' during a stress test with FurMark.
Anyone familiar with this kind of problem?
Any more information I should provide?

It's pretty damn clean.
That wouldn't explain the PC working fine after the first crash of the day would it?
