I bought set of cheap corsair 4gb ram sticks from best buy, geek squad knew nothing, and put them in my sony vaio w/ win 7 home prem 64bit and it won't boot, keeps going to start windows normally screen and won't go any farther, tried several times. Any ideas? They seem to work fine in my hp 2000 walmart special ..

It could be that the memory is not compatible with the Vaio. It could be the speed. We can sort it out, if you mentioned the exact model number of both the systems.
